🎪 Welcome to Beth Fest! A festival-themed 25th birthday party DJ vlog from Cheltenham. This was definitely not your average birthday party! A garden marquee was transformed into Beth’s very own mini festival, complete with festival-themed tables, musical bingo and a packed dancefloor right through until 1AM. 🎧 MUSIC ON THE NIGHT House Drum & Bass 00s & Throwbacks ABBA Michael Jackson Party Classics We started the night with musical bingo hosted by Beth’s best friend before taking things up a level with house, DnB, throwbacks and plenty of huge singalong tracks. This event was also one of the first outings for the DJ Wilkes Guest Request Portal, allowing guests to send song requests straight from their phones while I was DJing. And somehow we ended the whole night at 1AM with a marquee full of people singing ABBA – Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! 🪩 If you're planning a birthday party, wedding, private event or festival-style celebration and want a DJ who can tailor the music around your crowd, get in touch with DJ Wilkes. 🌐 DJ Wilkes Website: www.djwilkes.co.uk Instagram / TikTok / Facebook: @djwilkesuk 📍 Based in Kidderminster, covering Cheltenham, Worcestershire, the West Midlands and surrounding areas. I’ve been testing the UKING ZQ02103 Moving Head, a DJ light that costs around £124 – but is a moving head at this price actually any good? In this video I take you behind the scenes as I unbox, set up and test the UKING ZQ02103, looking at what you actually get for the money and how the fixture performs in a real DJ lighting setup. I’ll be testing the different features, colours, movement and effects, as well as getting it running with my lighting setup to see whether this could genuinely be a useful addition to a mobile DJ rig. For me, the important question isn't whether a £124 light can compete with fixtures costing many times more – it's whether it offers enough performance and flexibility to make it good value for mobile DJs, parties and events. 🎧 DJ Wilkes Professional Wedding, Party & Event DJ based in Kidderminster, covering the West Midlands and beyond. 🌐 DJWilkes.co.uk 📧 hello@djwilkes.co.uk 📱 @djwilkesuk If you enjoy DJ equipment reviews, behind-the-scenes event vlogs, lighting tests and real-world DJ setups, subscribe to the channel – there’s plenty more coming. Welcome back to another DJ Wilkes vlog! 🎧 This time I'm taking you behind the scenes at Seed Farmhouse near Malvern for Lydia's combined birthday and christening celebration. It was an absolutely beautiful summer evening, so this party was a little different. Guests were making the most of the sunshine outside before heading back into the barn whenever their favourite tracks came on. As always, I'm taking you through the whole event from start to finish, including the journey, load-in, full DJ setup, equipment, sound and lighting, party and pack down. 🎧 Calvin Harris 🔥 David Guetta ☀️ Ibiza house classics 🎶 Old-school EDM and throwbacks We were originally due to finish at midnight with No Broke Boys, but everyone was having such a good time that I was asked to stay for another hour! That final hour completely changed the night. We went heavy on the old-school EDM and house classics before eventually finishing at 1am with Avicii – Levels. What a way to end it. 🙌 Thanks again to Lydia and everyone involved for having me. It was a brilliant summer celebration! Come behind the scenes with me as I DJ Anne & Dave’s wedding at the stunning Plas Dinam Country House in Wales! 🎧💍 This was such a brilliant wedding to be part of, with a fantastic crowd, a beautiful venue and a dancefloor that came alive as the evening went on. Anne & Dave chose Country Roads by John Denver for their first dance, which was absolutely perfect for the Welsh countryside setting. Throughout the night we moved through a huge mixture of music, including: 🎶 00s dance anthems 🪩 80s & 90s classics 🎤 Big singalong favourites ❤️ Personal song dedications 🎨 A live painter capturing the wedding 💃 Plenty of packed dancefloor moments We eventually finished the night with Never Forget by Take That, which was an incredible way to bring the celebrations to a close. In this vlog, I take you behind the scenes of what it's actually like working as a professional wedding DJ, including the venue, DJ setup, lighting and the party itself. A massive congratulations again to Anne & Dave Adam-Baker, and thank you for choosing DJ Wilkes to be part of your wedding! 📍 Plas Dinam Country House, Wales 🎧 DJ Wilkes – Wedding & Event DJ 📍 Based in Kidderminster, covering the West Midlands, Wales and beyond 🌐 DJWilkes.co.uk 📧 hello@djwilkes.co.uk 📱 @djwilkesuk If you're planning your wedding and looking for a professional DJ, get in touch to check availability. Come behind the scenes with me as I DJ the exclusive new Audi RS5 reveal at Audi Leeds. This was a very different event compared with my usual weddings and parties. The day was all about creating the right atmosphere for Audi customers and car enthusiasts as they got their first look at the new RS5. I started with chilled house, lounge and feel-good background music while guests explored the showroom, checked out an incredible selection of Audi owners’ cars, grabbed coffee and pizza, and waited for the main reveal. As the day went on, the energy started to build. Once the Audi RS5 was officially unveiled, the music stepped up too, with more cinematic and high-energy tracks leading into the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix, which was shown live on the big screen. In this vlog you’ll see: 🎧 Behind-the-scenes DJ setup 🚗 The new Audi RS5 reveal 🏁 Audi performance cars ☕ Coffee & pizza trucks 🎶 Chilled house and lounge music 🏎️ Formula 1 race atmosphere 🎥 The full event from my point of view A huge thank you to Audi Leeds for having me. It was a privilege to provide the soundtrack for such a brilliant event. Come behind the scenes with me as I DJ the King David School Year 13 Prom 2026 at Fountain House in Manchester. 🎧🎓 This one had everything you want from a prom night — a full DJ setup, intelligent lighting, a busy dancefloor, loads of 2016 throwbacks, requests throughout the night, and the crowning of the Prom King & Queen. For this event I used: 4 Moving Head Beams on the lighting truss 2 LED Light Bars 2 LED Strobes 2 Moving Head Beams on the DJ booth Professional sound system Even though smoke effects weren’t allowed at the venue, the lighting still created a proper nightclub-style atmosphere throughout the night. One of my favourite parts of the evening was the amount of 2016 music that came out. We also had plenty of requests, including Jewish and Israeli music that I hadn’t played before, and the reaction on the dancefloor was brilliant. The night also included the announcement of the Prom King and Prom Queen, before the party continued late into the evening. Unfortunately, the music was brought to an unexpected stop by the venue near the end of the night, but it didn’t take away from what had been a fantastic prom. A huge thank you to King David School for having me, and congratulations to all of the Year 13 students. I hope you all had an amazing night and wish you the very best for whatever comes next.
